John Sutherland
John is a pioneer and was in the vanguard of developing management due diligence in the 1990’s.
His career started in the Health Service, where he worked as a Clinical Psychologist throughout the 1980’s.
He brings his psychology discipline and knowledge to bear to his work.
A senior team specialist and coach to a number of CEO’s John founded Strategic Resource in 1995.

When not working John is a keen amateur musician (voice, violin and piano), a father to four fine young men and two wonderful grandsons. He attempts to ride a horse but this hobby affords plenty of opportunity to practice humility!

Colleen Sutherland
Colleen has an extensive background in personal development work, coaching and team development. A ‘University of Life’ person she has a practical intelligence and a focus on follow through.
She worked in a wide variety of difference roles before finding her ‘home’ in consultancy work. She is an acclaimed executive coach and leads our work on emotional competence.
Colleen’s other passion is for horses. She competes in dressage competitions and is often to be found, at weekends, hacking out in the local countryside. Colleen combines her horse and work interest in her Equine Constellation work.
John and Colleen are married and work as a complementary pair. Having delivered senior leadership programmes together over the last ten years their work as a couple has drawn plaudits from clients, based on the strength of their working relationship and the synergy between their styles.
